Welcome to Get Active Kids! We are a fun and interactive holiday club offering a wide range of activities to keep kids of all abilities entertained during the school holidays. We want children to have fun through engaging activities where they can develop core skills in a safe and friendly environment. Your child will have an action-packed day at Get Active Kids Holiday Club. They will try new activities, games and sports with a choice of over 30 different activities throughout the week, all whilst developing their fundamental skills and making new friends! Your child will be looked after by our experienced team who are all enhanced DBS checked as well as first aid and safeguarding trained, keeping the safety of your child at the forefront of our clubs.

Terms & Conditions
Bookings & Payments
Your child’s place is not confirmed until full payment has been received. Paid bookings will always be given priority.
If a session or holiday club is cancelled by Get Active Kids due to insufficient bookings or minimum numbers not being met, a full refund will be issued.
No refunds will be issued within 7 days of the booked session date. Instead, a credit voucher will be provided for use at a future Get Active Kids holiday club.
If your child is unable to attend due to illness, please notify us via WhatsApp or phone as soon as possible. A voucher may be offered at our discretion for a future session.
If sessions are cancelled due to adverse weather, unsafe conditions, or the site/facility becoming unavailable, refunds will not be issued. A voucher or alternative session date will be offered where possible.
Get Active Kids reserves the right to amend activities, timings, venues, or schedules where necessary.
Behaviour & Conduct
Get Active Kids is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for all children.
We reserve the right to remove any child from the programme, without refund, if they display bullying, aggressive, unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate behaviour towards staff or other children.
Parents/guardians may be contacted to collect their child immediately if behaviour is deemed serious or unsafe.
Medical Information & Health
Parents/guardians must declare all medical conditions, allergies, additional needs, dietary requirements, or medication requirements during registration.
It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure all medical information remains accurate and up to date. Any changes must be reported immediately via email or telephone.
By registering your child, you consent to Get Active Kids staff administering basic first aid where required and seeking emergency medical treatment if necessary.
Children must not attend if they have experienced sickness, diarrhoea, fever, or any contagious illness within 48 hours of the session.
Any medication required during the day must be clearly labelled and handed directly to a member of staff on arrival.
Collection & Late Pick-Up
Parents/guardians must ensure children are collected promptly at the end of the session.
Late collection charges apply at a rate of £1 per minute per child after the agreed collection time. This charge is to cover additional staffing and venue rental costs.
If somebody different is collecting your child, you must inform staff in advance.
Personal Belongings
Get Active Kids does not accept responsibility for any lost, damaged, or stolen personal belongings brought to the club.
We strongly advise children not to bring valuables, toys, electronics, or unnecessary belongings from home.
Lost property remaining unclaimed for more than 2 months after the club has ended will be donated to a local charity shop.
Liability
While every reasonable precaution is taken to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children, participation in physical activities is undertaken at the parent/guardian’s own risk.
Get Active Kids and its staff shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or accident unless caused by proven negligence.
Photography & Media
From time to time, photographs or videos may be taken during sessions for promotional or safeguarding purposes.
Consent preferences can be selected during registration, and parents/guardians may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.
Emergency Contact Information (Recommended Addition)
Parents/guardians must provide at least one emergency contact number that is contactable during club hours.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
My child has a medical condition. Do I need to tell you?
Yes. All medical information provided during registration is securely stored on our Class4Kids system, which authorised staff can access when required. Please also speak to a member of staff on arrival if there is anything important we should know.
What should my child bring?
Please ensure your child brings:
Suitable clothing for physical activity
A spare set of clothes
A packed lunch
A refillable water bottle
Sun cream (during warm weather)
Any medication they may require
What should my child bring for lunch?
Get Active Kids operates a strict NO NUT policy. Please do not pack any foods containing nuts or traces of nuts.
What should my child wear?
Children should wear comfortable clothing and suitable trainers that they can run around and play sports in. We do not recommend jeans, restrictive clothing, or expensive footwear.
My child left something at the club. What should I do?
Please contact our office and we will do our best to locate and return the item. Please note we cannot accept responsibility for lost belongings.
My child is ill and cannot attend. What happens?
Please notify us as soon as possible via WhatsApp or phone. Where possible, a voucher may be offered for a future session.
How are children grouped?
Children are grouped as appropriately as possible based on age and activity choices to ensure everyone feels comfortable and engaged.
Will my child stay in the same group all day?
Not necessarily. Children may change groups throughout the day depending on the activities they choose.
What if my child doesn’t know anyone?
That’s absolutely fine. Many children attend without knowing anyone beforehand. Our staff work hard to create a welcoming, inclusive environment where every child feels comfortable and involved.
What time should I bring my child?
Registration opens at 9:30am and activities begin at 10:00am. If you are running late, please contact us to let us know. If you are booked on for our early session, our doors open at 8:00am, you are welcome to bring your child anytime from 8.
What time should I collect my child?
Collection begins shortly before 3:00pm. Any child not collected on time may be placed into the late collection period and additional charges will apply. If you are late to pick up from late club, there is a charge of £1 per minute. This is due to rental and staffing extra costs.
